VietBAM!

Hey from Hoi An! So uh, facebook is blocked here, just like in China.. Something I didn’t know, so to those few loves I said I’d message, you’ll have to check on here! (I know it is synced to my FB so it will update you on there)… So we’ve just left the airport and the culture really sets in. We’re driving up the wrong side of the road, flashing lights and tooting horns. There’s two lanes on each side: on small for cars and vans, and a larger one for the mo-peds. Wow now we over take a car on the wrong side and cross a double line. It’s absolute madness on these roads, yet there’s a kind of order to this chaos and I’ve not yet seen an accident or any build up.. Keeping in mind it is in fact a sunday evening.. We’ve passed a square of grass which was full of mo-pedders and motorbikists, a common gathering space I suppose, not much was happening, but it was a popular place.. Jet-lagged as all could be.. about to crash and just got to the room, will post photos tomorrow when I venture to an internet cafe!
